OSC-Workshops

Here we present a collection of interesting workshops from the past and provide videos and materials to repeat or catch up on them online. The OSC regulary organizes a wide range of different workshops around Open Science. You can find more information on upcoming workshops and talks under Events.

 The following three workshops are presented here:

The LMU Munich Open Science Center, the University Library and the Unit for Research Funding joined forces to present you an overview on Open Access in order to enhance transparency and provide you with the necessary tools to fulfill the guidelines of research funders. The workshop presents an introduction to Open Access in general, the available options before, during and after a research project as well as the specific requirements and funding possibilities by different funders such as DFG and European Commission.

“OSIM Workshop: Open Science - Reproduciblity, Data Sharing, Practical Aspects” (June 2020)

The workshop was organised by the LMU Open Science Initiative in Medicine (OSIM) and aims to provide basic and advanced knowledge about reproducibility and Open Science. Seven experts in Open Science from different research areas present and explain central concepts and ideas within the Open Science movement.

For this workshop, the LMU Munich Open Science Center, the University Library and the Unit for Research Funding collaborated to present an overview on Research Data Management & Open Science in order to enhance Open data and research transparency. They provide you with some useful tools and ressources to increase the transparency of your research and fulfill the guidelines of research funders such as DFG.
