Dr. Sara Lil Middleton

Research Support

Sara Lil Middleton is the Training Development Coordinator and Community Engagement Manager on the “Train-the-Trainer” programme at LMU in partnership with the Framework for Open and Reproducible Research Training (FORRT).

Her role involves:

  • Contributing to the development, maintenance and evaluation of training content and materials in collaboration with the “Train-the-Trainer” programme coordinator
  • Coordinating FORRT community collaborations and contributions in the development of training content
  • Co-developing auxiliary content to facilitate the longer-term engagement of Open Science practices beyond the completion of training courses.

Before joining LMU Open Science Center, Sara Lil completed her PhD in plant biology at the University of Oxford, UK and was a student representative at Reproducible Research Oxford (RROx) and led and collaborated on several projects at FORRT. She has an interdisciplinary background where she has previously worked in science communication and outreach roles with elementary school students to graduate students
