OSC members Anne-Laure Boulesteix, Max Mandl and Sabine Hoffmann are authors of the paper "Raising awareness of uncertain choices in empirical data analysis: A teaching concept toward replicable research practices" (https://doi.org/10.1371/journal.pcbi.1011936) published in PLOS Computational Biology. The education paper presents a teaching concept to help students to recognize the impact of their analytical choices and to learn strategies to handle these choices transparently.
Their work has party been funded by an individual DFG project.
